How would you describe your teaching style in three words?

Calm - Nurturing - Energetic

How do you help students overcome challenges in their practice?

  • Creating a space where they feel comfortable and supported—no pressure, no judgment. I remind them that yoga isn’t about being ‘perfect’ but about showing up and doing what feels right for their body that day. If something feels tough physically, I offer modifications and help them find a version of the pose that works for them. If it’s more of a mental block, I encourage them to breathe through it, stay present, and be kind to themselves. I always remind my students to celebrate the little wins and trust the process—because progress happens in the small moments, not just in the big breakthroughs.

What do you hope students take away from your classes?

  • More than anything, I hope my students leave class feeling better than when they walked in—whether that means feeling stronger, more relaxed, or just a little more at ease.

What’s your favorite song or playlist for a yoga session, and why?

  • I don’t use music in Bikram yoga to keep the practice focused, but in Hot Pilates, I love high-energy playlists with pop, electronic, and throwback hits to keep the energy up and make the workout fun!

A favorite quote or mantra that inspires you?

"I am here. I am present. I am enough.”
